How my journey began
My journey, which includes my own experiences with therapy, has shown me the powerful impact therapy can have in transforming our relationship with the world around us. These experiences have shaped my personal growth and instilled a desire to offer the same support to others.
I’m passionate about creating an inclusive, nonjudgmental space where you are valued for who you truly are, regardless of any diagnostic labels. My own life experiences fuel my commitment to walk alongside you as you explore your strengths and navigate your unique path to healing and self-discovery.
My life has taken me down many paths, each one helping to shape me into a more empathetic and skilled provider. From growing up in a small town, to earning a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree and then spending over a decade working in the nightlife industry, I’ve learned that life’s twists and turns can lead to colorful, enriching experiences. My desire to have a positive impact on the world was cemented when I began volunteering as a Sexual Assault Advocate with the YWCA. This led me to return to school and pursue a degree in Sociology with a focus in Psychology. During that time, I worked at a psychology office helping to assess adults for Autism and ADHD. Today, I am working to complete my Master of Social Work degree at Columbia University. Upon graduation, I look forward to continuing my mission of uplifting and celebrating the diverse identities and experiences that make the world we live in such a unique and wonderful place.
